Forensic
Neuropsychology Service
The
focus of our new Forensic Neuropsychology Service is
to provide specialized assessments and recommendations
to address the complex issues of children, adolescents,
adults, and the elderly who may be involved in adversarial
proceedings. There are many clinicians able to competently
evaluate clients with developmental disabilities, brain
injuries from various causes, dementia and other medical
or psychological conditions. The problem arises when
the clinician has to integrate their findings into forensic
issues.
The
expanded staff at PCS includes Drs. Joseph Begany and
Malissa Kraft, both well-trained and experienced neuropsychologists
who specialize in forensic neuropsychological assessment.
Dr. Begany, a pediatric neuropsychologist, brings to
PCS experience evaluating children, adolescents, and
young adults. Dr. Kraft's area of specialty is working
with adults and the elderly. Together they offer forensic
neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan.
Examples
of available forensic neuropsychological services include:
-

Adolescents, Adults
