​​​​​Lauren Lussier, Psy.D.


Dr. Lussier is a Designated Forensic Psychologist and Forensic Mental Health Supervisor with experience providing expert testimony in District and Superior Courts. For five years (2010-2015), Dr. Lussier worked as a forensic evaluator at Bridgewater State Hospital, gaining extensive experience in evaluations related to competence to stand trial, criminal responsibility, aid in sentencing, need for care and treatment of a prisoner, and risk assessment. Dr. Lussier completed her predoctoral internship at Yale University School of Medicine and completed a postdoctoral residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Lussier currently serves as Chair of the Criminal Justice Section of Division 18 (Psychologists in Public Service) of the American Psychological Association.

Ramón Ruiz, Ph.D.


Dr. Ruiz is a licensed psychologist and licensed school psychologist. He is fully bilingual and bicultural. He has extensive experience performing neuropsychological assessments in English and Spanish for children and adolescents with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. He has worked for over 20 years in school districts across Massachusetts as a school psychologist. He received his pre-doctoral clinical training at Children's Hospital Boston and post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem, MA. He received his doctorate from Northeastern University with his doctoral dissertation focusing on self-forgiveness in adjudicated juveniles under the custody of the Department of Youth Services.

David Partyka, Ph.D.


Dr. Partyka is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who received his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1991.  Primarily in private practice in Tallahassee, Florida (1993-2014), Dr. Partyka performed evaluations and provided expert testimony in Juvenile, Family, and Criminal Courts.  He was also the Clinical Supervisor for the outpatient Juvenile Sex Offender and residential Competency Restoration programs through Disc Village, a nonprofit, community-based agency.  Dr. Partyka also served as an evaluator for the Florida Sexually Violent Predator Program performing risk assessments. More recently, Dr. Partyka served as an Outpatient Forensic Evaluator for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities completing assessments related to competence to stand trial and criminal responsibility.

Gabriela Szemes, Psy.D.

 

Dr. Szemes is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience performing forensic evaluations in English and Spanish for juveniles and adults.  Dr. Szemes received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Cambridge. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center where she focused on mental health treatment in correctional settings and forensic evaluations. For the last 7 years, she has worked as a court clinician in both juvenile and district court, gaining experience in conducting evaluations regarding substance abuse, competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility and aid in sentencing.

Maureen O'Connor, Psy.D.


Dr. O'Connor is a licensed psychologist and board certified clinical neuropsychologist. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ithaca College and earned her doctoral degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Her post-doctoral training took place at Cornell Weill Medical College/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and the Bedford VA Hospital/Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. O'Connor is currently Director of Neuropsychology at the Bedford VA Hospital, Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine, and Associate Director of the Education Core at the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center. She serves as a Member-at-Large on the board of the National Academy of Neuropsychology.

Ned Weisman, LICSW


Mr. Weisman has been a licensed clinical social worker for over 30 years, during which time he has been the Director of an adolescent day treatment program and a secure inpatient treatment unit (IRTP) at Tewksbury State Hospital. He has also served as a clinical consultant to public schools, special education programs, and a secure treatment facility for mentally ill adolescents. Currently, in addition to a private psychotherapy practice for adults and adolescents, Mr. Weisman serves as both Guardian ad Litem and Parent Coordinator for the Probate and Family Court.
